Editorial for the Month

hinthint.com.au is an exciting new online gift registry that takes the legwork out of creating a Wedding gift registry for the bride & groom.  Plus it makes it easy for Wedding guests to shop for gifts.

Here’s how it works:

The bride & groom make their Wedding gift list online using the hint hint.  Unlike store based gift registries, any item from any store can be listed.  However if a specific brand or purchase from a specific store is required, this can be noted on the gift registry.  hint hint can also cater for requesting gifts of cash and gift vouchers or a mixture of these and gifts.

Wedding Guests are given the link to the hint-hint website and the couple’s gift list (via card included in Wedding invitation or email).

Wedding Guests view the gift list and are provided with the links to suppliers where they can buy the gift listed (majority of items can be purchased online).

If purchasing online, most suppliers give the option of delivering the item to the bride & groom which is good for guests who are travelling from interstate or overseas for the Wedding so they do not have to transport the gift.  Also when the Wedding is away from the bride & groom’s home (eg interstate or overseas) this service saves the couple having to transport all the gifts back home.

Once the Wedding guests decide to buy an item, they go back and mark it off the list.
